You Are Invited

Thinking about starting a side hustle in 2026? You’ve probably seen the ads for Avon, but you might be wondering: how does it actually work? Is there a massive interview process? Do I need to buy a warehouse full of stock? (Spoiler: No and No).

I’m Ady, and along with my wife Jackie, we’ve helped hundreds of people get started. Today, I’m going to walk you through the exact, no-nonsense process of becoming an Avon Rep in the UK this year.

It’s easier than you think—here is your step-by-step guide.

Step 1: The 5-Minute Application

Gone are the days of waiting weeks for an area manager to knock on your door. In 2025, everything starts online.

You simply fill out a short self-appointing form. It requests the basics: name, address, and contact information. It’s secure, fast, and you can do it from your phone while the kettle boils.

Step 2: Choose Your Account Type

When you sign up, you get to choose how you want to run your business. Avon offers two simple ways to manage your money, so you can pick the one that suits you best.

  • Credit Account (Pay Later): This is the flexible option. You can order products and pay Avon 13 days after the invoice date. This gives you time to deliver the goods to your customers and collect their payment before you have to pay Avon. Because this involves a credit limit, it requires a simple digital ID check.

  • Cash Account (Pay-As-You-Go): This is the budget-friendly option. You simply pay for your order at checkout before it is dispatched. There is no credit check required for this account.

Top Tip: If you apply for a Credit Account but don't pass the check, don't worry! You will be automatically offered a Cash Account, allowing you to start your business immediately.

Step 3: Choosing Your Kit

This is one of the most common questions I get. "Do I have to pay a joining fee?"

To get your business officially open, you purchase a Welcome Kit. The standard kit is just £20.

This isn't a "fee" that disappears; it’s physical tools for your business. For that £20, you get your first set of brochures and the essential guides you need to start selling immediately. It’s a tiny investment compared to starting almost any other business.

Step 4: Setting Up Your Store

Once you’re registered, you instantly get your own Avon Online Store. This is your personal website link. You can send this to friends, family, or share it on social media immediately.

You don't need to be a tech wizard. Avon builds the site; you just share the link. (And don't worry, we teach you exactly how to do that part!)

Step 5: The "Jackie & Ady" Welcome

This is the step that makes joining our team different.

If you join through the main Avon website randomly, you might just get an automated email. When you join us, you get a phone call.

Jackie or I will reach out to welcome you. We’ll send you our exclusive Team Welcome Pack (on top of your Avon kit), and give you our direct mobile numbers. We’ll help you navigate your first login, place your first order, and answer those "questions" you were afraid to ask.

"Filling in the form takes five minutes, but the support we give you lasts a lifetime. Remember: you might be in business for yourself, but with us, you are never by yourself." Ady Jones
