Jackie’s Story: Where it began
The Beginning (2009) "I first joined Avon in 2009 to help make up for the income we lost when Ady’s overtime was cut. I placed my very first order of £300, not knowing just how much that decision would change our lives."
Building Together (2011) "My team grew rapidly. By 2011, I had become an Advanced Sales Leader. Ady soon joined me, and together we discovered the joy of building something that not only supported our family but also empowered others."

The Turning Point (2015) "In January 2015, I was laid off from my job. I faced a choice: find another role or invest in myself. I chose Avon. I used my redundancy pay—two months’ salary—to go all in. That decision gave me freedom, flexibility, and a future I could shape on my own terms."
The Transformation "Since then, our lives have transformed. We’ve enjoyed two foreign holidays every year for the past six years, and we pay for Christmas in advance to avoid debt. By 2018, my Avon earnings matched my old full-time job—without the early mornings, long commutes, or daily stress."
Where We Are Now "Now I work from home, enjoy weekly lunches with friends, and feel happier and more fulfilled. Looking ahead, our goal is to reach Executive Leader status, helping our team achieve their own dreams along the way."
Adys Story: From Corporate Burnout to "The Avon Man in a Hat"
Hello! I’m Ady Jones
You might know me as "The Avon Man in a Hat," but my journey here wasn't exactly planned.
Like many people, my wife Jackie and I initially turned to Avon as a side hustle when money got a little tight. We needed something flexible that worked around us.
Jackie took to it immediately, becoming a Sales Leader and quickly signing me up as a Rep... not that I had much choice in the matter!
A New Lease of Life
For 40 years, I worked for a national company, managing multi-million pound projects and working as a facilitator. It was a high-pressure environment, and eventually, it took its toll.
In November 2017, I suffered from clinical depression. By May 2018, I made the decision to leave the corporate world behind. It felt like a risk at the time, but looking back, it was the best decision I ever made.
A Fresh Start
Leaving the corporate world was a big step. Avon helped me get back to being myself. It got me out mingling with people again and removed all the heavy "baggage" and stress I used to carry. It wasn't just a new job; it was a way to decompress.
