They say that sometimes, the worst things that happen to us turn out to be the best things.

If you’d told us back in 2015 that we would be running one of the UK’s most successful Avon teams, enjoying two holidays a year, and working entirely on our own terms, we probably wouldn't have believed you.

Because back then, things looked very different.

Today, I want to peel back the curtain and share the real story behind Jackie & Ady Jones. It wasn't an overnight success, and it certainly wasn't a straight line. It started with a crisis, a choice, and a £300 gamble.

The "Side Hustle" Years

Our journey actually began before the crisis. Back in 2009, I faced a cut in my overtime at work. Suddenly, the household budget was tighter than we liked.

Jackie decided to join Avon to bridge the gap. It was a classic "side hustle"—a way to pay for Christmas and keep the bills paid. She placed her first order of £300, just hoping to make a little profit.

It worked. But for a few years, that’s all it was: a helpful extra income.

The Moment Everything Changed

The real turning point came in January 2015. Jackie was given the news that nobody wants to hear: she was being made redundant.

Losing a job is terrifying. It brings uncertainty, stress, and a loss of confidence. Jackie stood at a crossroads. She could dust off her CV and scramble to find another 9-to-5 job working for someone else... or she could bet on herself.

She took her redundancy pay—which was just two months' salary—and decided to go "All In" on her Avon business.

How Jackie & Ady Jones Built the Dream

That decision changed our lives. Because she wasn't just "selling lipstick"; she was building a business.

The freedom and flexibility she found were infectious. I saw the potential not just to earn money, but to build a lifestyle. I joined her as a Sales Leader, and we combined our strengths.

By 2018, Jackie’s Avon earnings matched her old full-time salary. But the difference was, she didn't have the commute, the boss, or the stress. We had our time back.

Why We Mentor Others

We share this story not to brag, but to show you what is possible. We know what it feels like to worry about bills. We know what it feels like to be unsure of the future.

That is why our team philosophy is so focused on 1-to-1 support. We don't just want you to sell; we want you to feel the same security and pride that we found.

Whether you are facing a redundancy, looking for a career change, or just need to pay for a holiday, we have been there. We have walked the path, and now we want to guide you down it.
