We often talk about the "Avon Glow"—that feeling when you find a skincare product that works or a lipstick that makes you feel confident.

But there is another kind of glow that comes with this brand. It’s the warm feeling of knowing that the company you support is actively changing lives.

Avon UK isn't just about cosmetics; it’s about community. Through the Avon Breast Cancer Promise and the End Violence Against Women campaign, Avon supports some of the most vital charities in the UK.

"Today, I want to look beyond the fundraising totals and highlight the incredible impact of Avon UK charities and how they help the vulnerable, the abused, and the sick when they need it most."

1. Supporting the Sick: More Than Just Research

We all know the Pink Ribbon. But Avon’s partnership goes beyond just funding labs; it focuses on the people living with cancer right now.

CoppaFeel! (Saving Lives through Education)

Avon partners with CoppaFeel!, a charity on a mission to ensure breast cancers are diagnosed early.

  • The Impact: They educate young people on how to check their breasts (and pecs!).

  • The Benefit: Early detection saves lives. By funding their roadshows and materials, Avon helps ensure that a vulnerable young person spots the signs before it’s too late.

Look Good Feel Better (Restoring Dignity)

Cancer treatment is brutal. It takes a physical toll that often destroys confidence.

  • The Impact: Avon supports Look Good Feel Better, a charity that runs workshops for women and men undergoing treatment. They teach skincare and makeup techniques to manage side effects like brow loss or skin changes.

  • The Benefit: It gives the sick a moment of normality. It’s not about vanity; it’s about dignity, control, and facing the world with your head held high during the darkest times.

2. Protecting the Abused: A Lifeline for Women

The statistic is terrifying: 1 in 4 women in the UK will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime. Avon has taken a firm stand to support survivors through long-standing partnerships with two giants of the charity world: Refuge and Women’s Aid.

The National Domestic Abuse Helpline

Avon has helped fund the Freephone National Domestic Abuse Helpline, run by Refuge.

  • The Impact: This line is open 24/7. It is often the first point of contact for a woman fleeing danger.

  • The Benefit: It provides a voice in the dark. It connects abused women with legal advice, emotional support, and emergency accommodation when they have nowhere else to turn.

Safety and Support with Women's Aid

Alongside Refuge, Avon supports Women's Aid to ensure that local lifesaving services can keep their doors open.

  • The Impact: They provide a network of safe houses and community support services across the country.

  • The Benefit: It means that when a woman makes the brave decision to leave, there is actually somewhere safe for her and her children to go.

3. How You Can Support Avon UK Charities

You might think, "I'm just buying a hand cream, how does that help?"

  • The Charity Products: Avon releases specific products (Breast Cancer Causes Cord Bracelet) where 100% of profits go to these charities.

  • The Round-Up: When you shop online, you can round up your order total to donate the pennies.

  • The Awareness: Just by sharing a brochure with the Helpline number on the back, you might be putting a lifeline into the hands of someone who needs it.

Proud to Be Part of the Movement

Jackie and I are incredibly proud to lead a team under a banner that cares this much. Business is important, but people are more important.

When you shop with an Avon Rep, you are funding the fight against cancer and the fight for women's safety. Thank you for being part of that.
